In early December 2024, Team Eijerkamp repurchased the 1. Ace Pigeon of the Golden Algarve OLR in the auction. This Ace Pigeon, 'Tarzan Jane' (CH24-06637), raced by Eijerkamp-Wolf, is a co-bred offspring of ‘Thomas 1’ (Simon Wolf) and Golden Manu"Golden Manu" (Eijerkamp). She achieved the title of 1. Ace Pigeon in the prestigious Golden Algarve OLR 2024, which began with 6,999 pigeons.
The OLR partnership between Hans and Evert-Jan Eijerkamp and Simon Wolf (Switzerland), established in 2023, has proven to be highly successful in the world of One Loft Races (OLR). This success was highlighted now by winning the 1. Ace Pigeon in the largest OLR race in Europe, securing the top prize of €50,000 for this outstanding pigeon.
Golden genetics for ‘Tarzan Jane’
The father, ‘Thomas 1’, is one of the top breeders at Simon Wolf (Switzerland). ‘Thomas 1’ was bred by Thomas Kornelius in Germany and is a full brother to the famous ‘Thomas 6’, who won the 1st Final of the Golden Algarve in 2018 with an impressive lead of 24 minutes.
