Superb 2024 season for Johan de Langhe with thanks to the Eijerkamp pigeons
Johan de Langhe from Oostkamp, a top fancier from West Flanders, is renowned for his prowess in short-distance (vitesse) races. In the 2024 season, Johan once again made his mark on several races, thanks in part to the contribution of Eijerkamp pigeons. One of the standout performers of the 2024 season for Johan was the B24-3086518 'Remco'. This young champion was bred from a cock acquired from Embregts-Theunis, paired with a granddaughter of Luka Modrić"Luka Modric", which Johan himself bred from a direct son of Luka Modrić"Luka Modric" - purchased in 2019 through the Eijerkamp website.
In 2024, 'Remco' achieved remarkable results as a young bird:

Had Johan not entered ‘Remco’ in two different clubs, the bird could have ranked among the top KBDB National Ace Pigeons, as the National Ace had a slightly lower coefficient of 2.1351%. Johan had another standout pigeon with a coefficient of 1.93%, but this bird also competed in two different clubs, making it ineligible for the KBDB National Ace rankings.
As mentioned, 'Remco’s' father is a pure Embregts-Theunis pigeon, while the mother was bred by Johan from NL19-1411951NL19-1411951, a son of Luka Modrić"Luka Modric", paired with NL19-1411940NL19-1411940, a daughter of the top breeder Vetblauwe Jackpot"Vetblauwe Jackpot"
Another star of the 2024 season was B23-3028815, which Johan bred from NL20-1250117NL20-1250117 'Silver Star'. 'Silver Star' is a son of Diamant"Diamant" (8-time 1. prize winner in the Diamantverbond for Gebr. Vandenbrande) paired with 'Drambuille', a daughter of Vetblauwe Jackpot"Vetblauwe Jackpot" 'Diamant' later moved to the Eijerkamp breeding lofts in Brummen, where his offspring continued to excel. The mother of B23-3028815 is a pure Schaerlaeckens pigeon from Falco Ebben. The B23-3028815 won 9 prizes 1:10, including 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 9th, and 10th places.
B23-3028877 won 4x 1. prize at J. Vandecasteele
From NL20-1250117NL20-1250117, Johan also bred B23-3028877, which he gifted to his friend Jonny Vandecasteele from Wingene. This pigeon became a star in its own right, winning four consecutive 1. prizes in the fast local competition in Zwevezele, where Johan competes. Over four weekends, this exceptional bird won:

Once again, the mother of this bird was a hen from Falco Ebben.
